Today we visited a metal siding manufacturer, and got some metal tubes at the Yard Store (not shown). Then this evening I made some trim for the bottom of the wall, and around the tail light. I'll probably do the other side using a faster method.
Made corners for the sill pan under the door. I glued one corner to the sill pan, but I still have one left. It has been really nice to have the door hanging from the "crane" I made--i can test-fit the flashing as I make it.
This is two pictures of some proposed trim to finish water-proofing the bottom corner of the door. It is nice to have door hanging from a wall-mounted "crane"so I can easily work on it and try different things without having 3 guys to lift it in and out.
Started the project of removing the door and fixing the flashing so that water doesn't get in anymore. That door was caulked in so tight! (but the bottom leaked--weakest link)
