Sealing it up

We got the house pretty sealed up. Here is FlexWrap on the wheel well. The way to put this on: fold the tape, sticky side out, (with liner still on). Lay on wheel well, in place. Start peeling off the liner at the top, only the part of the liner that is against the wheel well. Once it is stuck to the metal, peel off the rest of the liner, and unfold it up against the wall.

We also put in the door. Here we are finishing up putting nail flanges on the door. I primed it with purple pipe primer. I used a couple beads of construction adhesive, and a bead of "Through The Roof" so that it just squeezed out.

Then we finally set the door in place. This door has taken a while!

And got it fastened:

And taped:

And we finished up the sealing. There was a window that leaked where I glued on the nail flange, so I re-caulked it. And I caulked all the nail holes in the roof and walls. Zips isn't supposed to need this...but I felt it would help:

And then it SNOWED:

But our little house is nice and snug.
