Installed the sink in the bathroom. Used composite lumber for the frame. I was able to score a fancy faucet from ReStore.

Built a shelf for a water jug in the kitchen. Now I'm able to move the filter off the counter by the sink, making doing dishes so much more handy.

The top (cream) is a heavy cotton canvas. The sides and bottom (blue) are nylon canvas, with a sealing layer. I put a piece of felt on the foam, under the cotton.

Cut the mattress into 3 pieces: two will be the couch, and the third will be used in the reading nook. All three will be used as a bed. I also got some perfect fabric to upholster it with.

Spreading the last layer of liquid-applied shower waterproof membrane. I had just enough! It was like the widow's oil (Bible story, where God supplied, as much as they needed, until they ran out of places to put it)

Putting Tung oil on the table I just installed. This is made from slabs that my brother and I cut out of a tree.

If you can decipher this picture, you'll see that the sunlight (from the South window) shines though our house. With the low winter angle, it almost shines out the North window (at the top of the picture). Our south windows are working so well! When the sun shines, we get so much heat in our house!

Thermostat for the electric heater. Accurate enough for fermenting yogurt too.
